🎉 AIFIP 2025 Wrap: Key Milestones & Sector Progress 🎊
As we close out 2025, we reflect with gratitude on a year marked by growth, collaboration, and meaningful progress for the Association of Insect Farming and Its Products (AIFIP).
In 2025, we:
Strengthened governance and institutional foundations by holding our official in-person AGM, adopting a guiding Constitution and Strategic Plan, and electing new Association officials.
Officially transitioned from IPAK to AIFIP, reflecting our expanded mandate to serve Black Soldier Fly (BSF) farmers across Africa.
Deepened member and stakeholder engagement by hosting our first-ever Stakeholders’ Event in November themed – “Unlocking Kenya’s Insect Economy.”
Expanded visibility and capacity building through key events and partnerships, including our inaugural Knowledge Café and a successful membership drive and training in Western Kenya, leading to the onboarding of 30+ BSF farmers.
Convened impactful stakeholder forums and knowledge-sharing sessions, advancing dialogue and collaboration across the insect farming sector.
Advanced strategic conversations and partnerships, including dedicated planning meetings to align priorities and agree on a 2026 work plan.
Strengthened our digital presence, growing our LinkedIn community to 250+ followers and expanding sector outreach.
These milestones would not have been possible without the commitment of our members, partners, and supporters who continue to believe in the potential of the insect farming industry.
